Everyone, I sent a message to Ron the General Manager regarding the course and this is his response :
"Following up from yesterday’s ride and chatting with Brian and Nate, we will be keeping the rough between 2 and 2.5 inches as we progress into the fall season. I understand some guys might want it shorter, but we have to protect turf health and do our best secure strong playing conditions throughout the dormant season. As far as the green side bunkers, the supers also said they can address that as best they can with some scarifying and some extra attention as the growing seasons slows down. A lot of the brown spotting and larger splotching out there is due to our progress in killing off weeds throughout some fairways, approaches and green surrounds, so do not be alarmed at some discoloration over the next couple weeks. I will also keep you abreast on the rebranding comms. Let me know if anything else comes up and enjoy the weekend."
